Geert Wilders Documentary: Fitna

When the SecProg “speaks truth to power” he’s celebrated with Oscars and Nobels.  When conservatives speak truth to power they are brought up on charges, as was Geert Wilders; or they are murdered, as were Pim Fortuyn and Theo Van Gogh.  In Fitna, Geert Wilders speaks some truth to power.

The mosque will be part of the system of the government of Holland.”

Liberal MSM Trying to Portray IRS Dive Bomber as a Tea Partier

First the Washington Post suggests the IRS dive bomber, Joseph Stack, is a Tea Partier:

Joseph Stack was angry at the Internal Revenue Service, and he took his rage out on it by slamming his single-engine plane into the Echelon Building in Austin, Texas. We now know this thanks to the rather clear (as rants go) suicide note Stack left behind. There’s no information yet on whether he was involved in any anti-government groups or whether he was a lone wolf. But after reading his 34-paragraph screed, I am struck by how his alienation is similar to that we’re hearing from the extreme elements of the Tea Party movement.

Then they quote part of his manifesto:

But they left something out– the part where he lauds communism and vilifies capitalism.  Full paragraph below before the Wapo cropped it:

Does that sound like a Tea Partier to you?  According to Joseph Stack’s 3000+ word screed, he wasn’t furious at “big government,” he believed the IRS was in collusion with BIG BUSINESS, and that’s what set him off.  And does this sound like a Tea Partier to you?

…the joke we call the American medical system, including the drug and insurance companies, are murdering tens of thousands of people a year and stealing from the corpses and victims they cripple, and this country’s leaders don’t see this as important as bailing out a few of their vile, rich cronies… Now when the wealthy f**k up, the poor get to die for the mistakes… isn’t that a clever, tidy solution… The recent presidential puppet GW Bush and his cronies in their eight years certainly reinforced for all of us that this criticism rings equally true for all of the government. Nothing changes unless there is a body count (unless it is in the interest of the wealthy sows at the government trough). In a government full of hypocrites from top to bottom, life is as cheap as their lies and their self-serving laws.

Or does he sound like a Daily Kosbot?

But despite all this, the Wapo tags him as a Tea Partier!  And that, gentle readers, is the media environment we’re working in.  I say Breitbart’s right– burn it all down.

Read the rest, here and here.

Andrew Breitbart: Destroy the New York Times, CNN

Andrew Breitbart wants to know why the likes of Hugo Chavez and Ahmadinejad get an ear from the New York Times and CNN, while American citizens protesting intrusive government are dismissed as “Tea baggers”.  That’s what you would expect of a Leftwing blog; it’s not what Americans should expect from the newspaper of record and the rest of the so-called mainstream media.

“I am committed to the destruction of the old media guard.”

Hear, hear.  Gramsci may have been onto something.  Burn it all down.

Secular Progressive Appalled People are still Marrying

To this SecProg, marriage is akin to a racist country club.

In a CNN video posted at Story Balloon, left-wing comedian Sarah Silverman expressed her disgust at the nation’s rejection of same-sex marriage as she declared that she is “starting to get appalled by anybody who would get married in this day and age.” She went on to compare getting married to joining a racially exclusive country club in the 1960s. Silverman: “I mean, it’s like, if you say, if you joined a club, a country club, you know, in the 60s that, where no blacks or Jews were allowed. Why would you want to join that country club? … I find marriage has a very ugly mark on it right now, and I would not want to be a part of it.”

And, as she made a distinction between her Jewish ethnic heritage and her religious beliefs, she described herself as agnostic, and related that she is only religious when “I’m very, very sick, and, like, on the bathroom floor.” Silverman: “I’m not religious. I mean, the only times I’m religious are when I’m very, very sick, and, like, on the bathroom floor, like in sweat, I will definitely find God, or in incredible amounts of turbulence.”

Read the rest, here.

To the Secular Progressive, “gay marriage” isn’t about marriage, it’s about gay rights.  Marriage is just the vehicle.  If gay “equality” could be achieved by destroying the institution of marriage–something Silverman is essentially promoting here–that would be a small price to pay.

Lefties Have No Clue What Makes you Tick!

We’ve got them pegged to a tee.  But them?  Clueless.  Here they try to make sense of what makes you tick.

Oh. My. Gawd.  Hateful much, Janeane?

How appalling…and depressing.  We couldn’t be any more alien to them if we landed in flying saucers.  But it is they who are the aliens.  They want this country and this civilization, and we’re not going to let them have it.

Irrelevant Religion

When a church begins taking it’s “moral cues” from the secular world, that church is dying.

LONDON (AP) — Several prominent Anglican British bishops are urging Christians to keep their carbon consumption in check this Lent.

The 40-day period of penitence before Easter typically sees observant Catholics, Anglicans, and Orthodox Christians give up meat, alcohol or chocolates.

But this year’s initiative aims to convince those observing Lent to try a day without an iPod or mobile phone in a bid to reduce the use of electricity — and thus trim the amount of carbon dioxide spewed into the atmosphere.

Bishop of London Rev. Richard Chartres said that the poorest people in developing countries were the hardest hit by man-made climate change.

He said Tuesday that the ”Carbon Fast” was ”an opportunity to demonstrate the love of God in a practical way.”

Here is not a church leading, but following. This church looks to see where the secular morality is heading, and then it follows.  You name any social trend that has become commonplace in the secular world, and these Liberal churches will emulate it.  You name any moral dysfunction the secular world has accepted as the “new normal”, these Liberal churches will condone it.  When was the last time this church spoke out loudly and publicly against the scourge of single motherhood?  Homosexuality?  Gay marriage?  Abortion?  Pre-marital sex?  The immorality of divorce?  Secular society has accepted these as the norm, and the Liberal church does likewise because it has bought into the meme that these are “conservative issues” and that conservative christians are “intolerant” and “judgmental.”  And also perhaps because it feels powerless against these trends.  But global warming?  Hoo boy!  That gets the Lent treatment.

I don’t say this because I believe saving resources is a bad thing.  I don’t.  I’m the kind of person that shuts off the light every time I leave a room.  I turn off the faucet when I’m scrubbing my hands or brushing my teeth.  I even turn the shower off while I’m lathering.  My water comes directly from the aquifer.  And in Texas, that means it’s free.  So it’s not because I’m stingy (although I am stingy).  I just don’t believe in waste.  Nothing wrong with conservation.  But when a church models it’s morality on the secular society around it instead of the other way around, this does not make the church “relevant.”  It makes a church IRRELEVANT.  A church that isn’t leading is dying.

Memo: Call it Global “Weirding” Now

First it was “global warming.”  When the Earth stopped warming they switched to “climate change.”  That wasn’t good enough either.  New memo to Libs suggests yet another name change is in the offing.  Now it’s global “weirding.”  To the Left, it’s all just about marketing gimmicks.  It’s all about “framing the argument” and “redefining the terms” with these latent stalinists and deconstructionists.  In a democratic society, they would be dead in the water without this kind of message control.  It’s like we’re always chasing them from one word to the next.  First they were “Liberals”.  When that became a pejorative, they switched to “Progressives.”  Always on the run!  Fisk this one with me.

Of the festivals of nonsense that periodically overtake American politics, surely the silliest is the argument that because Washington is having a particularly snowy winter it proves that climate change is a hoax and, therefore, we need not bother with all this girly-man stuff like renewable energy, solar panels and carbon taxes. Just drill, baby, drill.

The climate-science community is not blameless. It knew it was up against formidable forces — from the oil and coal companies that finance the studies skeptical of climate change to conservatives who hate anything that will lead to more government regulations to the Chamber of Commerce that will resist any energy taxes. Therefore, climate experts can’t leave themselves vulnerable by citing non-peer-reviewed research or failing to respond to legitimate questions, some of which happened with both the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia and the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Literally hundreds of millions of dollars are flowing from government and private foundations to fund global warmist research.  I would venture to guess the money from oil and coal companies to global warming skeptics is a fraction of one percent of that.  But Libs push that ridiculous “big oil” meme nonetheless.  Journalism!

Notice also, gentle readers, he’s apparently in the dark about the fact that one of the reasons the global warming industry has suffered such a collapse in confidence is precisely BECAUSE his climate experts have NOT been citing peer-reviewed research, but rather college term papers, popular magazines, anecdotal evidence, and such.  This is the kind of evidence that has shifted hundreds of billions of dollars in funding to the global warming “prevention” efforts. They have even corrupted the oft-touted peer review process itself, threatening to blacklist and isolate any scientific journals that dared publish any dissenting views. Mr. Friedman is oblivious to all this because the U.S. media isn’t reporting it, and he hasn’t been reading the foreign press.  Sadly, if the great Tom Friedman is oblivious, we can assume so are the drones who read him.

Although there remains a mountain of research from multiple institutions about the reality of climate change, the public has grown uneasy. What’s real? In my view, the climate-science community should convene its top experts — from places like NASA, America’s national laboratories, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford, the California Institute of Technology and the U.K. Met Office Hadley Centre — and produce a simple 50-page report. They could call it “What We Know,” summarizing everything we already know about climate change in language that a sixth grader could understand, with unimpeachable peer-reviewed footnotes.

Here are the points I like to stress:

1) Avoid the term “global warming.” I prefer the term “global weirding,” because that is what actually happens as global temperatures rise and the climate changes. The weather gets weird. The hots are expected to get hotter, the wets wetter, the dries drier and the most violent storms more numerous.

Except the hots haven’t been getting hotter, at least not since 1995. Nor have hurricanes been getting stronger, as they predicted.  And they also predicted LESS snow, not more.  Notice how they constantly change the goal posts?  That’s because they keep getting it wrong.  He also mentions nothing about  “the colds getting colder” in his “weirding” litany.  You know why?  Because that’s something else they didn’t predict.  They are using models to predict the future, the same models that have been proven unable to “back cast” the climate, certainly not without constant “tweaking” to ensure the proper results.  And if these models can’t even backcast properly, even with all the data that hindsight provides, we’re supposed to believe they can forecast? It’s my opinion their climate models can’t predict Tom Friedman’s next bowel movement, let alone climate 70 years from now.

The fact that it has snowed like crazy in Washington — while it has rained at the Winter Olympics in Canada, while Australia is having a record 13-year drought — is right in line with what every major study on climate change predicts: The weather will get weird; some areas will get more precipitation than ever; others will become drier than ever.

What makes that so “weird”?  What makes that so exceptional?  Nothing!  For isn’t that their argument against the Medieval Warming Period– that it wasn’t global?  This kind of localized weather is precisely how global warmists have been characterizing the Medieval Warming Period in order to dismiss it as evidence of prior warming. But now, according to Friedman, localized “weirding” is proof of warming.   It seems their standards require more “tweaking” than does their modeling!  Sorry, Tom, we aren’t buying the koolaid you’re selling.

Again, they want it both ways, gentle readers.  Weird localized weather today proves global warming, weird localized weather in Medieval times proves nothing.  See the switcheroo they trying to pull on you?  But we aren’t going to let them have it both ways!  Read the silly rest, here, if you like.

When Do Liberals Favor Teaching Religion in Schools?

Filed under: Education, Religion — Tags: — Jesusland @ 00:05

When are Liberals in favor of teaching religion in schools?  When it’s not Christianity!

GOLDIE HAWN is in talks to set up a Buddhist school in the United Kingdom.

The actress’ Hawn Foundation already teaches kids Buddhist techniques in schools across America, and now she wants to take the initiative across the Atlantic, and use the teachings to help British children build social and emotional stability – and curb violent outbursts in the classroom and playground.

Hawn says, “We need to rethink our whole approach to classroom education, integrating neuroscience with the latest social and emotional learning techniques.

“A peaceful, happy child is the first step towards a peaceful world.”

It’s not “religion” they want to keep out of schools, gentle readers, it’s Christianity.  In fact, that’s why they love “diversity” and multiculturalism so much.  Why?  Because it’s not Christianity!  Sadly, Europe is so deep in the multiculti thrall that even some UK conservatives have expressed interest in the idea.

No, Bush Didn’t Mirandize the Shoe Bomber?

President Obama is catching a lot of flack for mirandizing the christmas day bomber, Umar Abdulmutallab.  In defense of this outrage Dems claim “Bush did it too” when we captured Richard Reid, the “shoe bomber,” in December of 2001.  But how exactly did Bush handle the shoe bomber?  And why?  Ann Coulter has the 911.

And now you know why they hate Ann Coulter!  lol.

Barack Obama, mulligan revoked.

Dutch “Phobia” of Islam Cancels Book Launch

It’s not a “phobia” if the fear is rational.

A conference centre in The Hague has cancelled the launch of a book criticising Islam. The book launch was scheduled for Thursday at The World Forum, but was cancelled because the director of the venue does not believe he can guarantee the safety of his guests.

The book in question is Islamofobie? (Islamophobia?), written by [Mathematics teacher] Islam critic and PVV supporter Frans Groenendijk. The PVV, or Freedom Party is an anti-Islamic opposition party led by Geert Wilders.

Green Left party member Tofik Dibi, who was to receive the first book at the launch, says he regrets that the conference centre acted out of fear. The venue says it has not received any threats.

The rest here.

The West trembles in fear.  Rational or not, with the trial of the courageous Geert Wilders for “hate speech” in the Netherlands, and now this,  the Dutch have fully embraced their inner dhimmi.

Global Warming: Heads they win, tails you lose.

Howard Dean scares me a bit.  There’s a slightly off quality about him.  Like that politician in The Dead Zone the psychic Christopher Walken shakes hands with and discovers will destroy the world someday.  He says the darndest things.  And I say that as someone who doesn’t like to personalize my politics and does so only sparingly.

“One of the most disturbing things about the Republican Party over the last couple of decades is that they just don’t believe in science any more. And that is not an approach that is likely to generate any kind of creative thinking…People who use snowstorms as an example of why global warming doesn’t exist don’t understand the science and they don’t care.”

But MSNBC, Time Magazine, and the New York Times using the blizzard as evidence for global warming is perfectly ok! Right Howard?  That’s science!  And they’ll even cite the lack of snow to prove global warming too! More science!

These are the people lecturing us, gentle readers.  Could they really be this blind and stupid?  I don’t believe so.  They just think the American people are.

Remember all the fuss and muss from the usual suspects on the Left about Bush using executive orders and “wiretapping”?  A sign that he was the anti-Christ?  Signs of the impending christianist theocracy?

President Obama Set To Deploy Executive Orders

WASHINGTON — With much of his legislative agenda stalled in Congress, President Obama and his team are preparing an array of actions using his executive power to advance energy, environmental, fiscal and other domestic policy priorities.

White House officials said the increased focus on executive authority reflected a natural evolution from the first year to the second year of any presidency.

“The challenges we had to address in 2009 ensured that the center of action would be in Congress,” said Dan Pfeiffer, the White House communications director. “In 2010, executive actions will also play a key role in advancing the agenda.”

The use of executive authority during times of legislative inertia is hardly new; former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush turned to such powers at various moments in their presidencies, and Mr. Emanuel was in the thick of carrying out the strategy during his days as a top official in the Clinton White House.

But Mr. Obama has to be careful how he proceeds because he has been critical of both Mr. Clinton’s penchant for expending presidential capital on small-bore initiatives, like school uniforms, and Mr. Bush’s expansive assertions of executive authority, like the secret program of wiretapping without warrants.

Already, Mr. Obama has had to reconcile his campaign-trail criticism of Mr. Bush for excessive use of so-called signing statements to bypass parts of legislation with his own use of such tactics. After a bipartisan furor in Congress last year, Mr. Obama stopped issuing such signing statements, but aides said last month that he still reserves the right to ignore sections of bills he considers unconstitutional if objections have been lodged previously by the executive branch.

Obama Administration Pushes to Track Your Cell Phones

Even though police are tapping into the locations of mobile phones thousands of times a year, the legal ground rules remain unclear, and federal privacy laws written a generation ago are ambiguous at best. On Friday, the first federal appeals court to consider the topic will hear oral arguments (PDF) in a case that could establish new standards for locating wireless devices.

In that case, the Obama administration has argued that warrantless tracking is permitted because Americans enjoy no “reasonable expectation of privacy” in their–or at least their cell phones’–whereabouts. U.S. Department of Justice lawyers say that “a customer’s Fourth Amendment rights are not violated when the phone company reveals to the government its own records” that show where a mobile device placed and received calls.

Those claims have alarmed the ACLU and other civil liberties groups, which have opposed the Justice Department’s request and plan to tell the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia that Americans’ privacy deserves more protection and judicial oversight than what the administration has proposed.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss!

Today is George Washington’s Day

The man who could have been king.

We call it “President’s Day”, but we’re actually celebrating the birth of George Washington, our first and greatest president, to whom this country owes everything.

Today is not Presidents’ Day. The holiday’s official title is George Washington’s Birthday. It is a day for celebrating the Father of our Country, whose greatness is often forgotten. Few Americans know that George Washington never received more than elementary-level schooling. But he was a whiz at math, and his sharp mind and appetite for adventure led him to surveying, then to the Army.

Incredibly, in his first military adventure, the totally untrained soldier led an attack on a French force near the Ohio River, killing a French ambassador. Thus began the French and Indian War. Washington was captured and signed a statement, written in French, admitting to what were basically war crimes. In his next battle, Washington advised Gen. Edward Braddock to avoid traditional battle lines in an open field. Braddock ignored him, and the Indians slaughtered the British, killing Braddock. London blamed the colonials, including Washington.

Today, a young soldier’s career probably would be over — if he ever got into the Army with such little education to begin with. Washington soldiered on, eventually leading a small force of mostly militiamen to victory over the greatest military power the world had ever seen.

In 1788, a popular song in the new United States of America was “Great Washington shall rule the land.” But Washington wanted nothing of it. He was nearly broke and needed to restore his farm to profitability. But without campaigning for the job, he was unanimously elected President. He wrote of the results: “My movements to the chair of government will be accompanied by feelings not unlike those of a culprit who is going to the place of his execution … .”

On his ride to New York City, then the capital, he was serenaded by citizens singing, “Welcome, mighty chief!” Had he sought them, dictatorial powers were his for the taking. But on his inauguration, he wore a plain brown suit fitting of an average American, the first step in his plan to establish that Presidents were citizen executives, nothing more.

“As the first of everything in our situation will serve to establish a precedent, it is devoutly wished on my part, that these precedents may be fixed on true principles,” he wrote to James Madison. Following his principles, he spent the next eight years retiring the national debt, avoiding foreign entanglements and trying to ensure the stability of the young national government.

When he retired, George Washington was reviled by a large portion of the citizens who owed him their freedom. To avoid war, he had accepted a humiliating treaty with Britain. The newly formed opposition press brutally attacked and mocked him. But Washington never responded. He let the press and the people deride him as he rode home to Mount Vernon, where he died two years later.

Today, George Washington is the dour old man on the dollar bill. In his time, he was a colossus, the general who risked everything to defeat an empire, only to reject his own crown and retire to his farm after ensuring that no one would have the power he refused to take for himself. We owe him everything. Let us remember that, if not every day, at least on this one.

The rest, here.

UPDATE: And don’t neglect to scan the comments section in the original article.  You know how CCHQ likes to peek inside the Lefty mind from time to time.  They’ve invaded the comments there, and the bile that a simple tribute to George Washington arouses in them says it all.

Return to Rome: Methodists, Anglicans, Catholics Merging

The mainline churches are dying.  They’ve been cannibalizing each others memberships for decades in a futile attempt to survive, hoping to prolong the inevitable.  But now they’re trying something new.  After a half millenia-long schism, here two dying churches bury the hatchet.

The Methodist Church is prepared to be absorbed by the Church of England if that is the price of unity, Britain’s most senior Methodist said yesterday.

The Rev David Gamble, president of the Methodist Conference, told the General Synod of the Church of England, meeting at Church House, Westminster: “We are prepared to go out of existence, not because we are declining or failing in mission, but for the sake of mission.” Methodists were “prepared to be changed and even to cease having a separate existence as a Church” if that served the needs of the Kingdom of God.

The Church of England and Methodists have been flirting with reconciliation ever since their divorce two centuries ago. Formal talks between the two churches began in the 1960s, but an attempt in 1972 at full unity failed at the last hurdle because Anglo-Catholics were opposed. It took a generation for the Methodists to recover from the humiliation of being rejected after voting for a reunion.

Now, with only 265,000 members and heading towards extinction within a few generations, they are willing to try again. Yet the Church of England is also facing steady decline, having barely 960,000 monthly worshippers, and the Methodists have a strong hand. The Methodist Church owns prime real estate such as Westminster Central Hall.

A condition of unity will be keeping the name Methodist in some form. “It is more of a coming together rather than any suggestion that it would be the Methodist Church being swallowed up or losing its name,” a spokesman for the Methodist Church said. It would not be an Anglican takeover.

Mr Gamble’s address to the synod was the first such since 1993 — and the first time that the Methodist Church has voiced a willingness to cease to exist. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, will speak at the Methodists’ conference this summer.

The acquisition of so many thousands of Methodists by the Anglicans would more than compensate for the loss of hundreds of Anglican Catholics opposed to women bishops who are currently considering an offer by the Pope to accommodate them. The Methodist Church in this country has been ordaining women for three decades.

The rest, here.

The Methodist’s “strong hand” in the deal is their “real estate.”  Their land and their buildings.  And therein lies the problem–building rich, membership poor.  Look across their pews and you will behold a sea of white heads.  The mainline church’s “last generation.”  That is the fate of any church that neglects Christianity’s prime directive– the now politically incorrect Great Commission to make disciples of all nations– to proselytize and gain new adherents, now regarded as “imposing one’s religion.”

Proselytizing is something the mainline churches stopped doing ages ago because they regarded it as beneath them.  Only the intolerant evangelical boobs do that sort of thing.  “Let them come to us,” is generally the mainline attitude towards the Great Commission.  Even their missionaries overseas generally go there to work with local churches or non-religious projects.  Nothing in the budget for church plantings, and few if any souls being won over to Christ.  That is not to say the overseas mainliners aren’t making new converts, I suspect they are.  But not because of any missionary work from the West.  Christians in non-Western cultures haven’t been infected with the Liberal PC virus yet.  They happily proselytize to their heart’s content, and their churches are prospering.  But not here in the PC-diseased West.

The proposed Methodist/Anglican merger in Britain follows closely the agreement by Anglicans to begin absorption into the Catholic Church. We are witnessing history in the making as the Church sets aside its petty squabbles and returns to Rome, battening down the hatches and seeking safety behind the high walls of the Vatican in anticipation of the coming post-christian apocalypse as Western culture implodes and Islam rushes in to fill the void.  Where are the evangelicals?  They will be making their stand alone, here in Fortress America.  My money’s on them.  We can only hope the next great merging will not be an “abrahamic” one as Islam absorbs what’s left of Christendom in Europe.

Harvard Mass Murderer Obsessed with Barack Obama

The Harvard trained biologist who went on a murderous rampage when she was refused tenure at a university in Alabama was a big fan of the Light Worker.

A family source said Bishop, a mother of four children – the youngest a third-grade boy – was a far-left political extremist who was “obsessed” with President Obama to the point of being off-putting.

Now ask yourself, gentle readers, how do you think the MSM and Leftwing blogs would be reporting this story if the killer had been a rightwinger and a huge fan of Bush or Cheney?  That is a rhetorical question, as we all know the answer.  All rightwingers are seething cauldrons of violence set to blow at the slightest provocation.

Violent, Angry Protesters take to the Streets

The violent, angry Left

Angry, racist, misogynist, hate-filled rightwing Teabaggers take to the streets in a violent frenzy against America’s first black president, Barack Obama.

A small joke, gentle readers.  Here rather we have the usual suspects of the revolutionary Left.  Regular peace-loving flower children.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) – More than 200 masked Olympic protesters splattered red paint and smashed windows of a popular downtown department store Saturday on the first day of competition at the Vancouver Games.  Police say the group marched through the upscale shopping district, vandalizing cars and stores.  Witnesses say protesters threw metal newspaper boxes into the display windows of Hudson’s Bay Company, where Olympic souvenirs are sold.

Police in riot gear quickly moved in and quashed the protest. Police Chief Jim Chu said seven protesters were arrested on a variety of charges, and they were being processed. One of the protesters faces weapons possession charges. Chu said the protester had a bicycle chain wrapped around his fist and was threatening passers-by.  None of the protesters were immediately identified.

The protest was organized by the Olympic Resistance Network to “disturb ‘business as usual.'” The ORN is an umbrella group for many causes surrounding the games, ranging from environmental concerns to economic issues.  The most prominent involved native Indians who want to reclaim their property (“No Olympics on Stolen Ancient Land”) and those angry over the amount of money spent on Olympics as opposed to public housing (“Homes Not Games”).

Read the rest, here.

The Liberal-controlled media doesn’t tell you this, but the Left is violent, angry and revolutionary.  They don’t tell you this because their sympathies lie with these goons.  After all, it wasn’t long ago that many, if not most, of these J-school grads were in the streets themselves protesting The Man too.  So they’ve got a soft spot for these guys.  But not for you! Whether the Left chooses violent rioting and mayhem vs pacifism and non-violence is merely tactical, not ideological.  The image of the peaceful flower child is a media creation.  Just google “Democratic convention riots”.  But their violence is acceptable because their cause is just.  While you teabaggers assembling peacefully are all just angry racists.

Ayn Rand Tells Us How She REALLY Feels, lol

Back in the day before the Libs invented PC speech codes we had stuff like this:

Arabs = totally primitive savages

Don’t hold back, Ayn!  LOL.

Chief Global Warmist admits Dog Ate his Homework

More news you won’t find in the New York Times or CBS because Obama still has an energy bill to pass.  Chief global warmonger admits:

  • Data for vital ‘hockey stick graph’ has gone missing
  • There has been no global warming since 1995
  • Warming periods have happened before – and NOT due to man-made changes

You with me so far?  The data on which the entire hoax is based has “gone missing.” And there’s been no warming in 15 YEARS.  Science!

The academic at the centre of the ‘Climategate’ affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble ‘keeping track’ of the information.  Colleagues say that the reason Professor Phil Jones has refused Freedom of Information requests is that he may have actually lost the relevant papers.

The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory.  Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now – suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon.

And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming. The admissions will be seized on by sceptics as fresh evidence that there are serious flaws at the heart of the science of climate change and the orthodoxy that recent rises in temperature are largely man-made.

Professor Jones has been in the spotlight since he stepped down as director of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit after the leaking of emails that sceptics claim show scientists were manipulating data.  Following the leak of the emails, Professor Jones has been accused of ‘scientific fraud’ for allegedly deliberately suppressing information and refusing to share vital data with critics.

But he denied he had cheated over the data or unfairly influenced the scientific process, and said he still believed recent temperature rises were predominantly man-made.  Asked about whether he lost track of data, Professor Jones said: ‘There is some truth in that. We do have a trail of where the weather stations have come from but it’s probably not as good as it should be.

He further admitted that in the last 15 years there had been no ‘statistically significant’ warming, although he argued this was a blip rather than the long-term trend. And he said that the debate over whether the world could have been even warmer than now during the medieval period, when there is evidence of high temperatures in northern countries, was far from settled.

Professor Jones departed from this consensus when he said: ‘There is much debate over whether the Medieval Warm Period was global in extent or not. The MWP is most clearly expressed in parts of North America, the North Atlantic and Europe and parts of Asia.

‘For it to be global in extent, the MWP would need to be seen clearly in more records from the tropical regions and the Southern hemisphere. There are very few palaeoclimatic records for these latter two regions.  ‘Of course, if the MWP was shown to be global in extent and as warm or warmer than today, then obviously the late 20th Century warmth would not be unprecedented. On the other hand, if the MWP was global, but was less warm than today, then the current warmth would be unprecedented.’

Sceptics said this was the first time a senior scientist working with the IPCC had admitted to the possibility that the Medieval Warming Period could have been global, and therefore the world could have been hotter then than now. Professor Jones criticised those who complained he had not shared his data with them, saying they could always collate their own from publicly available material in the US. And he said the climate had not cooled ‘until recently – and then barely at all. The trend is a warming trend’.

Mr Harrabin told Radio 4’s Today programme that, despite the controversies, there still appeared to be no fundamental flaws in the majority scientific view that climate change was largely man-made.  But Dr Benny Pieser, director of the sceptical Global Warming Policy Foundation, said Professor Jones’s ‘excuses’ for his failure to share data were hollow as he had shared it with colleagues and ‘mates’.

He said that until all the data was released, sceptics could not test it to see if it supported the conclusions claimed by climate change advocates.   He added that the professor’s concessions over medieval warming were ‘significant’ because they were his first public admission that the science was not settled.

Nothing to see here.  Move right along proles.

Europe Is Lost — Revisited

Secular progressivism is a civilization killer.  It has managed to accomplish within a few decades, and without firing a single shot, what Islam has failed to accomplish in over 1,000 years of war with the West.

In Europe, secular progressivism has created a cultural and spiritual vacuum in the name of multiculturalism and moral relativism.  Nature abhors a vacuum, and Islam is filling that void.  It has created a society that refuses to reproduce.  The young are not being replaced.  The Left’s malthusian views on overpopulation, gender roles, and the environment ensures that there won’t be enough people to care for their aging population.  This requires them to import a foreign workforce from the Middle East and North Africa to keep the welfare state ponzi scheme rolling.  The culturally alien Islamic population being imported refuses to integrate because their religion is by nature supremacist, as well as perhaps, admittedly, because of European attitudes on race and nationality which make that assimilation harder.  Whatever the reason may be, the result is the same–balkanization and cultural annihilation by demographic invasion.  It’s happenning, gentle readers.  This is no longer even being denied by the governments of Europe.  You have seen what the macro picture looks like here. Now the troubling micro view, below:

America must avoid the mistakes Europe has made.  We must control immigration from Islamic countries.  We must humbly but unapologetically promote christianity and the judeochristian worldview.  We must trash the civilization-killing model of multiculturalism, in favor of full assimilation and Americanization.   We must challenge the tyranny of political correctness that seeks to stifle your voice and muddle your thinking.  And we must take back the reigns of our country from the far Left who have wrought plagues of every kind on our civilization since the day these bolsheviks overran the Kremlin.  They are our target.  I don’t mean to descend into stridency, gentle readers, but it’s time to shake it up a bit.  Stay true to your morals and we won’t go astray.  Not the morality by politically correct “isms” imposed on you by the far Left, but the judeochristian teachings we were raised with.  Spread the word–unapologetically and without shame.  We have a civilization to save.

An Inconvenient Truth – revisited

You think you’ve heard everything about Islamic terrorism, but you haven’t.  Below, a balanced look at radical Islam and its war on the world, but especially on the West and on Israel.  You will see and hear things about radical Islam that has been mostly filtered out by the mainstream media, but which shows just how radicalized even mainstream Islam has become.  This isn’t a Splenda-coated look at the world through the eyes of Katie Couric.  This is hard-hitting stuff, gentle readers.  But it’s not the rantings of a rightwing lunatic either.  You will hear from moderate muslims, christian Arabs, and muslim apostates addressing the issue of radical Islam, and calling out the useful idiots in the West who have paralyzed us with their politically correct insanity and blame America first mantra.  And you will also hear from the so-called moderate muslims, who say one thing in English, and something else entirely in Arabic.  As always, you be the judge.
