Hundreds of Latino/Mexican Students Leave School & March Demanding Respect

Latino/Mexican yutes march to demand "respect."

Respect me!  lol  Here is where Liberal racial/identity politics leads to– division and strife.

About 200 Hispanic teens are marching in Morgan Hill yelling “We want respect!” and “Si se puede!” in reaction to a controversy ignited when the Live Oak High School principal effectively sent four students home for wearing T-shirts with American flags on them during Cinco de Mayo.

Mexican-American students felt the students were being disrespectful on the only day they celebrate their heritage while students sporting red, white and blue said it violated their First Amendment rights.

Six police cars and a Morgan Hill motorcycle officer have been cruising alongside the large group as it marches.

The group – mostly high school students – walked out of school this morning after the story of four students who were sent home because they wore American flag T-shirts went viral on TV and online. Many wear red, white and green and two large Mexico flags can be seen at the front of the line.

The students say they want people to know they’re proud of their heritage and they believe wearing red, white and blue on Cinco de Mayo is disrespectful.

Ain’t multiculturalism just grand!  Time to reinstitute the pledge of allegiance in California.

Question:  Where are their parents?  Half of these yutes will drop out of that high school before they graduate.  That is a statistical FACT.  They will then go on the dole, into crime, or otherwise end up a burden on the taxpayer.  But, boy they sure are well-schooled and highly educated in Leftwing identity politics.   Respect them!

You don’t demand respect, you EARN it, and they are LOSING it fast!  I’m pretty sure demanding other kids be suspended for having the gall to wear American colors in their own country isn’t helping either.  Personally, I’ll respect their traditions/history/culture when they move their loyalties north of the border.  Not before that.

  1. Just amazing the way our young people think these days. I guess thats what two generations of being taught self esteem is more important than hard work gets you.. Selfish, Irrational, Arrogant and nearly anti-American students… Nice.
Unbelievable that a Mexican American high school student would be offended by her fellow Mexican American student wearing an American flag t-shirt on a highly American driven quasi Mexican holiday….wtf.

  2. The brashness of youth mixed with multiculturalism is a noxious combination. And I do try to keep in my their youth.
